Designed for Group 4, D400 installations*, Hercules delivers outstanding load-bearing strength, skid resistance and long-term reliability. Made from heavy-duty ductile iron, Hercules eliminates the need for complex fabricated solutions. Each cover features a small, secure inspection window for safe, single-person visual checks, while an M16 blank bolt can be replaced with a threaded lifting eye for level mechanical lifting. * Due to the physical size of the product being larger than 1,000mm it is outside of the scope of BS EN 124, making full-scale load testing strictly in accordance with the standard not practicable. However, the structural performance of the unit has been established through a comprehensive engineering assessment programme. This includes advanced finite element analysis (FEA) to simulate BS EN 124 loading conditions, supported by empirical validation through controlled road trials and supplementary mechanical and dimensional checks aligned with the intent of the standard. Collectively, these measures provide a robust and conservative demonstration that the product meets the functional and structural performance requirements expected under BS EN 124 service conditions. |
